What are the vaccination requirements to enter the stadium?

In line with recent government changes, vaccination proof is no longer mandatory at the stadium.

Do I need to wear a mask?

Masks are currently not mandatory, however we encourage patrons to bring their masks for when socially distancing around the stadium is not possible.

Masks will not be available at the stadium and patrons are required to bring their own masks.

What should I do to ensure my own safety?

In line with current Victorian Government health advice, we encourage patrons attending Marvel Stadium to:

  • Stay home if you are feeling unwell.
  • Exercise personal hygiene precautions including regular hand washing, sanitising and respiratory etiquette;
  • Maintain social distance where possible;
  • Wear a mask
  • Download and activate the COVIDSafe app on your mobile device;
  • Follow the directions of our staff and any signage throughout the venue;
  • If you have been asked to quarantine due to travel or close contact you must stay at home;

How does parking at the stadium work?

Melbourne CBD Parking – 24/7 Marvel Stadium’s Car Park

Once booked through the online system, you will then receive an email containing your car parking ticket with a QR code for entry and exit of the car park. The QR code can be scanned from your mobile device when entering or exiting the car park (as long as you are in your nominated booking times).

Please do not use your credit card to enter and exit the car park if you have booked your parking online, as you will be charged the standard car parking event day rate. If you overstay your booking time, you will see an overstay payment on the screen, and will be charged via the daily rates for the overstay fee.  This can be paid with your debit/credit card. 

Where is General Admission?

Seating arrangements are confirmed the week of the match. General Admission is usually located across aisles on Level 3 for the AFL. For the AFL, GA sections are posted with key match day information on our social media channels. Upon arrival at the stadium, if you are unsure, please see a customer service staff member or check for signage on what section General Admission is for your event.

How does General Admission work?

Patrons with General Admission tickets can sit in any of the designated General Admission areas. These seats are on a ‘first-come, best dressed’ basis and are not reserved for the duration of the match.

Can I still buy food and drinks at Marvel Stadium? 

Food and drinks will still be available to be purchased at the game, although only CASHLESS payments are accepted.

Can I bring my own food and drinks?

Marvel Stadium allows patrons to bring their own food and beverages (non-alcoholic).

To ensure you don’t bring something that is prohibited, please see our Conditions of Entry.

What can I do if I don’t have a credit or debit card?

Unfortunately Marvel Stadium cannot facilitate any cash payments.

You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks (non-alcoholic) into the stadium.

How does digital ticketing work?

Buying a mobile ticket with Ticketmaster couldn’t be easier. If ‘mobile’ is listed as a delivery option, you will then be able to access your ticket from your Ticketmaster Account once purchase has been completed.

Tickets are released by Ticketmaster approximately 3 days before the match.

I bought 5 tickets; how do I share them with my friends?

You can now forward your mobile ticket to friends and family straight from your Ticketmaster Account. If this feature is available for your event, a forward button will be clearly visible within your order when viewed on Ticketmaster.com.au (using a web browser on your device) or via the Ticketmaster App.

How do I scan my ticket?

Now your tickets are with you on your device and easily accessible in your Ticketmaster Account. Log in using our Ticketmaster App or via Ticketmaster.com.au (using a web browser on your device), locate your order, and access your tickets directly on your device.

Make sure your download your ticket on your device before arriving at the venue ready to be scanned, and you’re in.

I want to sit with my friends but we are in a different area, can I move seats?

Patrons with General Admission tickets may sit together in designated General Admission areas.

Patrons with different seat numbers with reserved seating tickets cannot change seats.

Will I be able to climb the Spider-Man Climbing Wall?

Unfortunately the Spider-Man Climbing Wall is tentatively closed.

Will I be able to use the Marvel GamerVerse?

Unfortunately the Marvel GamerVerse is closed due to the stadium’s redevelopment.

Will I be able to use the lift to get to levels 2 and 3?

To ensure safe social distancing, priority will be given to to patrons whose mobility is impaired. Patrons will be directed to use the ramps, stairs and escalators if possible.

If you do need to use the lifts, please seek assistance from our Customer Service team members who will be happy to help.

I’m feeling unwell and don’t think I should attend – can I get a refund?

If you’re feeling unwell and are displaying any COVID-19 symptoms, please apply for a refund via Ticketmaster. All information on refunds is available on the Ticketmaster website.

Will the sensory room be open?

The stadium has a Sensory Room located on Level 3 and has a maximum capacity of 12 people at any given time.

If Level 3 is closed for the event, the Sensory Room will be closed.

Sensory Bags that were available to hire for the event duration will no longer be available, to assist with maintaining good hygiene and reducing touch-points.

Will the prayer room be open?

If Level 3 is not open, there is a secondary prayer room available on Level 1 inside Gate 2.

What do I do if I notice a fellow patron not abiding by COVIDSafe measures?

Marvel Stadium takes all COVIDSafe regulations very seriously. If you notice a patron not following COVIDSafe measures, please speak to a stadium staff member or security team member.

I have been instructed to quarantine because I have been traveling/I am a close contact with a confirmed case, can I still attend?

No, you are not permitted to attend. You can contact the ticketing agent for a refund.

I don't have a mobile phone for digital tickets.

If you don’t have a mobile phone, you are welcome to print out your ticket and bring this with you for scanning.
